What are Lost Treasure Golf & Maze’s hours?
We’re open seasonally, from March through October plus weekends in November, with our longest hours in the summer. Everything is weather permitting, so call ahead on questionable-weather days, and check our website here for the current day’s hours before you head out.
What’s included at Lost Treasure Golf & Maze — is it just mini golf?
There’s more to explore than putting! We feature two 18-hole miniature golf courses and a challenging Maze. You can play golf, take on the maze, or grab a combo pass to do both — there’s something for every level of adventurer.
What’s the difference between the two golf courses?
We have two 18-hole courses — the Gold and the Diamond. The Gold course takes you across a pirate ship and has no steps, while the Diamond course winds up and through a mine and cave and includes some stairs. Both are beautifully landscaped and well maintained, so many guests enjoy playing both.
How does the maze work?
It’s a fun, race-the-clock challenge! Your goal is to escape the maze in 7 minutes or less by finding objects to complete your “passport” along the way — do it in time and you’ll win a free round of golf. It’s harder than it looks, and no matter your age, it’s a blast, so be sure to give it a try.
How much does it cost?
We offer single golf rounds (with a lower rate for children), maze-only admission, and money-saving golf-and-maze combo passes for both adults and children — and you save $1 per ticket when you buy online. Prices can vary by season, so check our website for current pricing.
Do you offer discounts, coupons, or a combo deal?
Yes — our combo passes are the best value, and we offer discounts for groups of 15 or more, military, seniors, children, and second rounds, plus a discounted rate later in the evening. You can also find coupons on our website. Just note that discounts generally can’t be combined.
What’s the story behind Lost Treasure Golf & Maze?
Our theme follows a local Lancaster legend. In 1916, young Professor Duffer A. Hacker began searching the Lancaster area for treasure said to be buried near a tree with purple leaves — a tale tied to the days when Lancaster served as the nation’s capital for a single day in 1777, when one of the fleeing “Signers” reportedly buried his heavy load near the Conestoga River. Now it’s your turn to hunt for that hidden treasure.
What is the Mystery Hole?
It’s a fun bonus! After your first round, ask an Expedition Guide about the Mystery Hole — it changes every day and isn’t revealed until you finish your round. If you scored a hole-in-one on it, you win a free game.
Can I buy tickets online, or do I need a reservation?
No reservation needed — walk-ins are always welcome. But you can pre-purchase your rounds online to save $1 per ticket and skip the ticket line, which is handy on busy days. Otherwise, just stop by the ticket counter inside when you arrive.
Is Lost Treasure Golf & Maze good for kids and families?
Absolutely — we’re a family favorite. The holes are tricky but fun for all ages, the grounds are clean and well kept, and the maze is a great way to burn off some energy. Guests often tell us it’s the best mini golf they’ve played with their kids.
Is the course wheelchair and stroller accessible?
Yes — our Gold course is wheelchair and stroller accessible with no steps, making it easy for the whole family to play together. The Diamond course does include stairs, so choose the Gold course if accessibility is a priority, and call us with any questions.
Are there food, drinks, or restrooms on-site?
Yes — we sell novelty ice cream during the summer months, have vending machines for drinks, and keep clean, well-maintained restrooms. We also have a gift shop with souvenirs to remember your adventure.
Do you host birthday parties, groups, or events?
We do! With two courses and a maze, we’re a popular spot for birthday parties and group outings, and we offer group rates for parties of 15 or more. Reach out to us and we’ll help you plan.
When is the best time to visit?
Evenings are a great choice — it’s cooler, and we offer a discount later in the day. Midday in summer can get warm since there’s limited shade, and the course can get busy during peak times, so a later-in-the-day visit is often the most comfortable and relaxed.
What should I wear or bring?
Comfortable shoes are a good idea, especially for the steps on the Diamond course, and since shade is limited, bring sunscreen, water, and a hat on hot days — or plan a cooler evening round. You’ll also enjoy the peaceful views of the adjoining farm as you play.
Is Lost Treasure Golf & Maze open year-round?
We’re a seasonal attraction, open from March through October plus weekends in November, and closed during the winter months. Always check our website for the current schedule before you visit.
Are pets allowed?
Service animals are always welcome. If you’d like to bring a pet along, please give us a call before your visit and we’ll be glad to let you know what’s allowed.
